Happy Paint Party Friday!!

Hello! It's been so long since my last post! I hope you are all well.
The art featured in this blog post is made with my new gelli plate! Yay! My husband bought me an early birthday gift.

Sorry it's been so so long that I haven't posted for Paint Party Friday. Just letting you know I'll be moving this blog over to wordpress. I love the way Wordpress works.

Hope you are all well. I've been busy setting up my new main blog. More beauty related.
I'm not sure if I will make an Instagram for my artwork only...But I'm very  tempted.

I'll be changing the name of my blog also. Not sure what yet. I'm very excited though. I also look forward to having a look at all your art work and seeing how you are doing.
I closed down my etsy shop and red bubble. I only have zazzle and deviant art right now.
I'm  thinking about creating my own shop. It will include art and photos. That is in planning mode.
So that is my news so far. I'm always on Twitter and Instagram if you like to talk. I'm @bestdayblogger on both.
Have a Happy Paint Party Friday and I wish you all the best! I will post next Friday with the New blog!!  Have a lovely weekend!!

DIY Salt dough ornaments

4 cups all purpose flour
1 cup salt
1 1/2 warm water

Preheat oven to 325 Degrees F
Mix ingredients  and knead until soft and pliable.
Roll out on floured surface and cut the shapes you like.
Bake for one hour.
Let them cool.
I then used Gesso and let that dry.
I painted the stars white and added adhesive and sprinkled the glitter.
Let dry and then I drilled the holes.

Happy Paint Party Friday!!!

Thank you to the wonderful hosts Eva and Kristin. Thank you for the feature last Friday. You made my heart fill with love and joy! All the artists comments are all so wonderful! Thank you so much! You are all so inspirational and amazing. I love visiting your blogs. You inspire me. I get excited viewing all your beautiful pieces of art and also reading about what made you create your pieces. Again, thank you so much!

Yesterday I had a little time to paint with my eldest  and this is what we came up with.
My daughter made this I helped her write in cursive.

Eleni age 7

This is a piece I created, I used watercolours.
Can you tell I love Autumn? Autumn has not arrived yet but some leaves are falling.
I'm not sad at all because Autumn is my favourite time of year.

This Abstract piece is also Autumn inspired. This is Autumn moving in and Summer moving slowly out.  I used both watercolours and acrylics.

My husband made this with my daughter the night before.
They collected leaves and used crayon. They pressed the paper on top of a maple leaf and
made beautiful art!

We call this "Oh Canada"

I made this mixed media piece right after I got featured. I was so happy.

What do you see?

Thank you again my lovely artists! I will make sure I visit all your blogs and see what your
magical creations are! Thank you for your visits and your lovely comments are so appreciated!
Happy Paint Party Friday!
